This time of year, where families come together, during a time of such tragedy. Let us not forget those that were lost in a senseless attack, but let us also not forget those that are still with us. Let this be a time of rejoicing for the memory of their lives, for they will always be in our hearts and minds.

Here is my recipe for a Merry Christmas.

one part hugs

one part smiles

one part laughter

one part anticipation

one part snow

one part presents

add a dash of giggles

and add Lots of Love.

Mix well.. and ENJOY!

I have always enjoyed Christmas music, even in the Spring or Summer. I occassionally think of a song and start singing it. Christmas isn't just once a year, but every day as long as we have it in our hearts.

Below are some traditional Christmas songs that I enjoy, as well as childrens and/or fun songs. Songs that inspire or make you smile.

All songs are in realaudio format and will require a download of a realaudio player if you do not already have one. Go to realplayer.com to obtain one.

It's a standard to recite "The Night Before Christmas" to young children, so in keeping with traditon, I am  placing it on this page.

THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads;
And mamma in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap,

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
